When Is Click Frenzy 2026? The Short Answer

We could not confirm an official date for a November 2026 Main Event as of 24 July 2026 — Click Frenzy maintains its own sales calendar on clickfrenzy.com.au, but no dated November announcement has surfaced in retailer or press coverage yet either. What we can say with confidence is the historical pattern: Click Frenzy's flagship sale, the Main Event, has landed in the second week of November in recent years and run for roughly four days. In 2025 it ran from 7pm AEDT on Tuesday 11 November through midnight on Friday 14 November. 2026 has also been an unusually disrupted year for the business behind Click Frenzy — it went into liquidation in late March, was bought out of receivership by new owners in May, and relaunched with a week-long EOFY sale in June. No November event has been confirmed under that new ownership yet. Our Click Frenzy event page tracks the confirmed 2026 date live the moment the operator locks it in, so bookmark it and check back in October.

Why 2026 Has Been a Strange Year for Click Frenzy

Click Frenzy Pty Ltd and its sister business Power Retail entered liquidation on 30-31 March 2026. Wexted Advisors were appointed receivers and managers and RSM Australia were appointed liquidators, with reporting from Ragtrader and SmartCompany attributing the collapse to a cashflow crunch after a travel-focused sale event underperformed amid the fallout from the Iran conflict.

The receivers kept trading the business while running an accelerated sale process, and by early May 2026 SmartCompany reported that Click Frenzy's brand and digital assets had been bought out of receivership by Gabby and Hezi Leibovich, the entrepreneurs behind Catch.com.au (sold to Wesfarmers for a reported $230 million) and Scoopon.

Under the new owners, Click Frenzy relaunched with a week-long End of Financial Year sale starting 18 June 2026, backed by Australia Post as a sponsor and free participation for the first 500 registering retailers, according to Mumbrella and Retailbiz. That EOFY event is the only 2026 Click Frenzy date we could independently verify. Nothing about a November Main Event or Black Friday tie-in has been announced by the new ownership so far.

The Historical Pattern: When Click Frenzy Usually Runs

Click Frenzy launched in November 2012 as Australia's answer to Cyber Monday, and despite a rocky opening night it grew into a recurring fixture on the retail calendar with two headline general sales each year — Mayhem in May and the Main Event in November — plus smaller category events like EOFY and Travel Frenzy scattered through the rest of the year.

The Main Event is the one shoppers wait for, since it lines up with the start of the Black Friday and Christmas shopping run. In 2025 it opened at 7pm AEDT on Tuesday 11 November and closed at midnight on Friday 14 November, a four-day window consistent with prior years.

Given the receivership and change of ownership, 2026's cadence is genuinely uncertain. If the new owners keep the pre-liquidation rhythm, a mid-November Main Event is the reasonable planning assumption. Treat that as an educated guess based on history, not a confirmed date, until the operator posts one.

What Retailers Do During a Click Frenzy Sale

Even with the operator's future uncertain, plenty of major Australian retailers have run their own Click Frenzy-timed deals independently of the official platform, and their own sale calendars are a reasonable signal for what a November event window looks like. JB Hi-Fi lists EOFY (June) and Click Frenzy/Black Friday (November) as its best times to buy TVs, computers and appliances, and layers its JB Deal price-match policy and JB Hi-Fi Perks $10 welcome coupon on top of whatever sale is running.

The Good Guys names the same EOFY and Click Frenzy/Black Friday November window as its best time to buy, alongside regular ticketed markdowns year-round. Shoppers who add Gold Service Extras to a purchase can also claim the 30 Day Price Guarantee — 120% of any price drop as store credit — against approved competitors including JB Hi-Fi and Harvey Norman.

Myer's best-time-to-buy list runs EOFY, Black Friday, Boxing Day, Cyber Monday and Click Frenzy, and importantly Myer applies these discounts automatically at checkout rather than through coupon codes. MYER one members separately earn 2 points per dollar at Myer and partner brands like Just Jeans and Portmans, redeemable at 1,000 points for a $10 reward.

How to Prep Before a November Sale

Target Australia also flags Click Frenzy alongside Black Friday and Boxing Day as its best sale windows. New subscribers to Target's eNewsletter get a one-time $10 off orders over $50, and OnePass members ($4/month or $40/year) get free standard delivery with no minimum spend plus 5x Flybuys points when shopping online or via Click & Collect.

Beyond joining loyalty programs, the most useful prep for an uncertain Click Frenzy year is simple: build a wishlist now, note the current non-sale price on anything you're tracking so you can tell a real discount from a re-tagged one, and sign up for retailer newsletters directly rather than relying solely on the Click Frenzy platform, since some of the best November deals in past years ran through individual retailer sites regardless of whether Click Frenzy itself was live. Check our Click Frenzy event page in the weeks before November — we'll update it the moment the new operator confirms 2026 Main Event dates.

Join the loyalty programs of retailers you already shop with — JB Hi-Fi Perks, MYER one and OnePass all cost nothing to join and stack extra dollars or points on top of whatever discount a sale period brings.
