Editorial Policy & Corrections
How GetPromoCodes sources Australian savings advice, distinguishes source checks from checkout tests, and handles corrections and affiliate relationships.
Sources and Australian eligibility
We use retailer offer pages and policies for eligibility, redemption instructions and exclusions, and an event operator’s own calendar for confirmed dates. We distinguish a confirmed announcement from a historical pattern or prediction. A store in our directory is not automatically a participant in an upcoming sale.
What a check establishes
Listed by retailer means a successful check found an offer published on the retailer’s own site at the displayed time. It does not establish checkout success for every basket. Checkout tested describes a recorded checkout test. An inconclusive re-check does not advance the successful-check timestamp. Unverified codes may not work and are removed after seven days without confirmation.
Editorial authorship and automation
GetPromoCodes Editorial is the site’s editorial byline, not a person’s name. Automated research and source checks help maintain listings. Only registered human verifiers are presented as people who performed a check. A guide’s Updated date records a substantive content edit; each listing’s check time is separate.
Corrections
Send the page URL, the statement you believe is wrong and a supporting source through our contact form. We compare the claim with its source and update the affected content when a correction is warranted. Material guide corrections are explained in the guide. An editorial correction never creates a successful coupon check or a checkout-test record.
Affiliate relationships
We may earn a commission when a shopper buys through a retailer link. Commissions do not determine whether a check succeeds, the status shown on a listing or the order of offers. Source references and editorial explanations are provided to help readers evaluate the claim.
