How we make money

GetPromoCodes is free to use. We fund the site through affiliate commissions: when you click a link here and go on to buy something, the retailer or an affiliate network sometimes pays us a small commission. It costs you nothing extra — the price is the same as if you’d gone direct.

The mechanics, since you may as well know them: every offer link here goes out through our own redirect first, which counts the click and then sends you on to the retailer. That’s how a sale gets attributed back to us. Where a store has no affiliate arrangement, the same redirect just drops you at their normal site and we earn nothing from it — you can’t tell the difference from the page, and that’s deliberate.

Our promise

Commissions never influence what we publish. Specifically:

• A paying relationship never changes whether a code passes verification, how we rank codes, or where a store sits in a list.
• We list stores that pay us nothing, right alongside those that do, with no visible difference.
• A paying store’s dead code is retired exactly as fast as anyone else’s — our “Didn’t work” votes don’t care who pays us.
• Where a code is exclusive to us, we label it clearly as Exclusive so you know how you’re getting it.

Community referral codes are different

The referral codes on this site belong to the people who shared them. Use one and the bonus splits the way the brand set it up — the submitter gets the referrer side, you get the new-user side. We take no cut, there’s no redirect and no tracking on them: you copy the code and go. We host the list because it’s useful, not because it pays.

Why we’re telling you this

Because the whole point of this site is trust, and you can’t trust what you can’t see. If you ever spot something that looks like a paid placement dressed up as a recommendation, tell us — we’ll fix it.
